Hello World v2
I better start practicing writing simpler entries, quicker thoughts and short texts if I'm trying to start (again) to publish my blog on an almost daily basis.
Firts of all, I would like to have the record straight about why I am saying that I'll be starting this "again": that's because I've tried this uncountable times before, but I have never achieved something past a couple of weeks. Rough, I know, specially when my ambitions had always include being able to hold and come back to memories and moments preserved for the future. I have a little piece of an historian inside of me, and I have been consistently letting that historian down by not having the writer nerve to just write stuff up regularly. This topic is, in fact, one of the recurring topics I'd be mentioning throughout my past entries in the old blog: my inability to keep up with my hunger for preserve stuff. But here's for one more try, one more opportunity and the right drive to get far with this one (hopefully one whole year at least, to begging with).
One key change that's been insinuated but not explained (this actually contains my come-to-be favorite phrase) is: Stuff changed majorly with my website. Again, I know, but I say this without the faintest feeling of shame or anything. Being able to grow and change is something that I'd been accepting and embracing into my life, and feeling quite happy of that stuff happening. I owe that to myself. Trying to keep a memory and a clear sign of me growing and changing is, actually, what I'm curious to see if I can achieve here, so these two facts are actually positives for me right now. That's why changing again, growing my pasts methods and trying to keep with the same project but a different phase is a proud moment instead of a shame.
So that's why I changed from publishing my blog straight into the source code to use an specialized blogging platform. With the way it was before, I forced myself to have access to my station so I can be able to publish stuff. I'd write the post in a document and then pass that text into the post's HTML so I can just push it and it gets published. The little thing not being convenient with this process is having to access a code editor in order for me to publish stuff, and maybe not only any editor, but one that knows about my SSH and PGP keys. Like, I never ever thought about publish outside my home or what? 😂
I quickly understood that publishing consistently requires, necessarily, to have lighter topics, quicker thoughts and a reeeeally convenient way of placing the text out there. Quite the extreme opposite of what I used before. I'll be trying this platform because it's Google's, I trust they won't be going anywhere in the near future, and because it came smoothly into an arrangement with my good 'ol domain name that I love. It also offers an app, quite nice and simple, and it just works. This task became a "just write" mission, and I am all for it.
Writing this from my phone as a proof of concept. Great experience, easy and fun. I can even think about stuff like posting photos and media. Getting the back end out of the equation and one's mind is an excellent way to become more effective and (maybe?) creative. Will keep posted, lol.
